How is the Residency’s approach different from traditional startup programming?
We select for founders who know what they are doing and only initiate programming we know will be additive. Examples have included bringing in OpenAI to walk through their future product roadmap and demo upcoming parts of the platform, conducting sessions with tech luminaries, building brain trusts on generative UI/UX amongst current and prior founders in the Company Ventures network, and the like.
What kind of workspace can founders expect?
We have a beautiful building with great office space and amazing amenity spaces that helps our Residents be productive and impress talent/customers/investors.
What support does Company Ventures provide throughout the residency?
Our investment team is a fanatical advocate for your progress and success—we get to know you and your company through regular check-ins and coaching throughout the year, tailored specifically to your needs.
Acceptance into the Residency does not necessarily involve or guarantee an investment from Company Ventures. We are your advisors and advocates first and foremost, whether we invest or not. As seasoned investors, we have a long track record of helping founders achieve successful fundraising outcomes ($4.4B+ in VC funding raised across our 213 program companies) and build enduring businesses.
In the majority of circumstances, we will seek to invest in Residency companies at market terms, either by leading a round or investing alongside other firms as and when a fundraise naturally materializes—there are no demo days.

Are internship opportunities available to portfolio companies?
