Abril Palacios

Abril works at the intersection of operations, people and community. She helps make Company Ventures' New York office a place where the team and the founders who come through it feel at home and connected to one another. To her, a great space isn't just well-run. It's somewhere people want to show up, run into each other and build together.

At Company Ventures, Abril oversees daily operations for the firm's NYC home and the founders in its residency. Alongside keeping the space stocked, organized and welcoming, she focuses on the moments that bring people together, from team lunches and happy hours to getting to know each residency company and what it needs to thrive. She sees the office as more than infrastructure: it's where a community forms, and she works to make sure everyone in it feels supported and part of something bigger.

Before Company Ventures, Abril worked across operations, wellness and emerging technology. She consulted on AI at Mercor Intelligence, served as Aquatics Supervisor at Life Time Inc., and worked in Wellness & Prevention Services at Babson College. At Babson, she was a confidential resource for students and helped rewrite the college's Title IX policy into clearer, more accessible language. Across those roles, the common thread has been people: staying curious, building systems others can rely on, and creating spaces where people feel cared for and connected.

A graduate of Babson College, Abril is originally from Lima, Peru. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hot pilates and spending her summers at the Jersey Shore.
