Mia Manantan

Director of Impact Programs
Mia leads programs and initiatives designed to expand access to opportunity across New York City's tech and startup ecosystem. She oversees the "Boost" Founder Fellowship and the NYC Startup Internship Program, connecting early-stage founders and NYC-based students to capital, community, and hands-on experience. Her work sits at the intersection of venture, innovation, and workforce development - partnering with founders, funders, and public-sector leaders to help startups scale while keeping talent pathways into tech accessible and equitable. Mia's driven by the belief that the best ecosystems are built with the communities they serve.
Before stepping into her current role, Mia held positions spanning operations, community, and program management at the New York Academy of Sciences and Samsung Next, a non-linear path she wouldn't have had any other way. Outside of work, she's an enthusiastic sports fan, especially for the NY Liberty, and splits her free time between strength training and enjoying the city's abundant music and restaurant scene.
Mia holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management with a concentration in Community Health and Healthcare Advocacy from New York University.
