Michael Milstein

Co-founder & Exec Chair

Michael is drawn to founders deploying technology across established industries. He is particularly interested in the application of AI within complex, regulated sectors such as financial services, insurance, and healthcare, as well as technologies that bring down the cost of everyday life through innovations in housing, construction, and the food supply chain.

Michael Milstein is Co-Chief Executive Officer and Co-President of Emigrant Bank and Milstein Properties. He runs the Milstein family’s broader portfolio of real estate, banking, and investment businesses, including its venture capital, private equity, and private credit groups. He founded Emigrant Venture Partners, Emigrant’s fintech partnerships business, co-founded the financial wellness platform Fruitful, and is a partner at Circle Ventures, the technology investment arm of the Milstein Companies. He also serves as Executive Chairman of Boylan Bottling Co. and Co-Chair of 8AM Golf.

Michael led the redevelopment of 22 Vanderbilt, the 1.1 million-square-foot commercial tower connected to Grand Central Terminal that Company Ventures calls home. The project has been recognized for redefining the modern office experience through its unique approach to hospitality, attracting high-profile tenants such as Bain & Company, Armani, and TD Bank.

He is currently developing The Bounty Club, a golf destination in Nashville, and created the Milstein Program in Technology and Humanity at Cornell University.
