Nelson Schubart

Nelson is a Managing Partner at Company Ventures where he co-leads the investment research team, and oversees the finance and operations of the firm. Prior to Company, Nelson was an investment research analyst at Trafelet Capital, a concentrated long/short hedge fund, where he covered internet & technology companies, including the firm’s two largest positions.

Nelson looks to be the first check into highly ambitious founders setting out to build AI-native, category defining businesses, with founding teams that combine standout commercial and technical talent.

Nelson began his career as a financial analyst in the Investment Management Division of Goldman Sachs in San Francisco. Nelson received his BA in economics from Tufts University and his MBA from NYU Stern where he was an InSITE Venture Fellow.
